The only ACLS course which has been specifically condensed and catered to the needs of the oral surgeon. This course is certified by "Life Support Network" and is accepted by the Dental Board of California as the requirement for GA permits.  This course offers the camaraderie of learning with your peers, and is limited to 20 participants, so do not delay your registration.

Also offered for staff, is a modified version of the ACLS program that is designed to be purely educational and instructional in nature. This is a valuable course and will better prepare the assistant for the management of the cardiac emergency in the dental office. The Assistants course is limited to 40 participants.

Educational Objectives

1) Recognize and initiate treatment for pre-arrest conditions that may lead to cardiac arrest.

2) Manage the first 10 minutes of an arrest due to ventricular fibrillation.

3) Correctly treat other arrest rhythms.

4) Be able to choose rhythm appropriate medication consistent with ACLS algorithms.
